There are a lot of expectations for the Splash Brothers, heading into the 2015 NBA Playoffs.

Point guard Stephen Curry is highly favored to win the 2015 NBA MVP award, while NBA 2K15 predicted that his team, the Golden State Warriors, will most likely take home the NBA Finals crown, based on a report by Game Spot

2K Sports used its latest NBA-based game "NBA 2K15" to determine which team will become the overall champion of the 2014-2015 NBA season. Check out the company's full NBA 2K15 - NBA Playoffs Simulation summary published on Facebook here.

The game developer found that the Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will most likely go head-to-head in the NBA Finals, with the Warriors winning the championship title.

Citing 2K's playoffs simulation, Yahoo Sports noted that the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs will face off in the Western Conference Finals. Even though the Spurs are the defending champions, the Warriors, being the number one seeds, will beat the Spurs 4-3.

On the other hand, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks will battle it out in the Eastern Conference but ultimately, with the Cav's "defensive efforts" and LeBron James presence, the Cavaliers will move on to the Finals.

In the simulated NBA Finals, it predicted that the Cavs will win two games while the Warriors will bag the crown with four wins. Polygon reported that Stephen Curry will also win the NBA Finals MVP award. GameSpot added that the All-Star point guard would score at least 40 points in the fifth and sixth games of the Finals to earn the title.

Although simulating the NBA Playoffs through a game is unscientific, the results shown render various possibilities. Earlier, Madden NFL 15 was reportedly right in predicting that the New England Patriots would prevail over former champs Seattle Seahawks. The game even accurately predicted the final score.

It seems NBA 2K15 is convinced that the Warriors will take it all this season but it is also acknowledging the amazing defense that the Cavs could bring to the table. "This series showcased two of the best teams in basketball, and it did not disappoint. NBA 2K15's simulation of this wild road only proved one thing - we're in for a wild ride this NBA playoffs," it wrote.
