The NFL has already reinstated Adrian Peterson but the Minnesota Vikings will reportedly not be seeing him in their early offseason workouts.

CBS Sports reported that Peterson and his agent, Ben Dogra, previously stated that the running back wanted to be out of Minnesota. The Vikings, on the other hand, are looking for a top cornerback and first-round draft pick in exchange. Peterson was slated to play for three more seasons with the Vikings and earn over $45 million. However, he allegedly seemed troubled by the fact that the Vikings did not stand by him when he was charged of misdemeanor reckless assault in November 2014.

Star Tribune wrote, "It's interesting that on Monday, NFL players have the option of reporting to a team workout. The word is that Peterson would receive $250,000 if he reported to the Vikings camp. But nobody expects him to report under any circumstances."

In a report, NFL.com said Peterson may not be attending the voluntary offseason conditioning workouts. Citing NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport's social media posts, the outlet stated that the eight-year veteran's attendance on the initial day of the offseason training has been inconsistent in the past.

The running back could get a $250,000 bonus if he attends but the amount can only be earned if Peterson participates in 90 percent of the organized team activities and minicamps, exclusive of conditioning activities, Twin Cities noted.

The Vikings have reportedly organized team activities for May 26 to 28, June 2 to 4 and June 8 to 11. They also have a mandatory minicamp on June 16 to 18.

Peterson missed 15 games in the previous NFL season and attended three days of offseason conditioning in the spring of 2014, although it was allegedly done as a favor for coach Mike Zimmer. He participated in enough minicamps and organized team activities in 2014 to earn his workout bonus, Twin Cities explained.

If Peterson honors his contract with the Vikings, he has to decide late in May 2015 on whether he wishes to get or forfeit his $250,000 workout bonus. Twin Cities added that the Vikings can begin fining the running back if he starts skipping the mandatory minicamp. Peterson may be fined $12,155 if he misses one day, $24,300 if he misses two days and $36, 465 for the third day, to reach a total amount of $72,920, on top of the $250,000 that he will not be receiving.
