Supermodel Gisele Bundchen walked the runway for the last time in Brazil for Sao Paulo Fashion Week. Her husband, quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, sisters and parents, were all seated on the front row when she strutted her stuff for Colcci. The Brazilian beauty was teary-eyed at the end of the show.

On April 15, Bundchen announced that she is finally retiring from fashion show modeling. Yahoo reported that the 34-year-old supermodel resorted to social media to share the news of her retirement.

She posted, "Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body, it's a privilege to be able to stop".

She added a teenage photo of herself with the caption, "I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business. #firstrunway #14yearsold".

To show his support, the 2015 NFL champ wrote a sweet note for his beloved wife the next day, TIME reported.

Brady penned on Facebook, "Congratulations Love of my Life. You inspire me every day to be a better person. I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished on the runway. I have never met someone with more of a will to succeed and determination to overcome any obstacle in the way. You never cease to amaze me. Nobody loves life more than you and your beauty runs much deeper than what the eye can see. I can't wait to see what's next. I love you. #‎GOAT #‎thebestisyettocome".

Based on the same report by TIME, Bundchen shared her plans to work in other aspects of the fashion industry. Bundchen has been a model for two decades and was dubbed by Forbes as the highest-paid supermodel in 2014, raking in $47 million. She has worked with various top brands and designers around the world through the years, such as Balenciaga, Chanel, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Carolina Herrera and Alexander Wang. She is also very popular as a regular Victoria's Secret Angel.

"I don't see how to continue (modeling on the catwalk) ... and stopping will leave room for other projects I have for myself," the model told Brazillian newspaper Folha de São Paulo.
