Finally, the second trailer for the much-awaited "Star Wars Episode 7: Force Awakens" has been revealed and it's caused a maelstrom of frame-by-frame analyses, which is understandable considering the iconic status of the whole "Star Wars" franchise.

The latest trailer shows Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford, and Chewbacca, also known as "Chewie," back on the big screen together after about 32 years since Ford was last seen in a "Star Wars" flick.

"Chewie, we're home," Han said as the clip ends. Yes, you have to wait till the end before you can see the pair in the clip.

"A vast, wrecked Imperial Star Destroyer on a desert planet which Abrams revealed is called Jakku, not Tatooine," Mashable said about the opening scene. "The image is an indelible one, and suggests that Abrams and co-writer Lawrence Kasdan - an alumnus of Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi - have grasped the galactic size of this mythology they're reviving, and are taking it in new and interesting directions."

Then there's the arresting sight of Darth Vader's helmet, which CinemaBlend suspected is in Luke Skywalker's possession considering that he's the voice we hear speaking as various scenes flash.

"He was, after all, the last one to see it in 'Return of the Jedi' as he lit the funeral pyre," the site recounted.

Another interesting aspect of the trailer is Luke's statement about the Force being strong in his family. After saying that he, his father, and his sister have it, he said this: "And you have it."

"The big Star Wars mystery of the next six months is, which of the cast is the 'you'?" Mashable wondered.

The clip doesn't linger on this puzzling statement and proceeds to other scenes.

"In a flurry of quick scenes we see Oscar Isaac as pilot Poe Dameron flying with a squadron of X-Wings above water; His helmet and flight suit still bear the Rebel insignia from the original series," MailOnline noted. "Suddenly a hooded figure swinging the much-discussed 'crucifix lightsaber' at the camera; before John Boyega and Daisy Ridley as Rey and Finn are seen fleeing a TIE fighter blasting at them from above the desert planet, while the new rolling droid BB8 trudles speedily beside them."

At this point, it's worth noting that the new droid, the BB-8, made an appearance Thursday at the Anaheim Convention Center event in California where the trailer was shown. It shared the stage with its other robotic co-star R2D2.

"Star Wars Episode 7: Force Awakens" will arrive in theaters December 18, 2015.
