As the film "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" draws closer, more details on the plot and characters were recently revealed.

In the latest clip featured from the upcoming Marvel movie, a few Avengers attempt to lift Thor's magical hammer, Mjolnir. The video clip presented by Cinema Blend lasted one minute and 23 seconds, showing the Avengers hanging out and sipping drinks in a spacious living room. The topic focused on Thor's hammer being too heavy for anyone to lift except for its owner. Some characters suggested that it was only a trick, so Thor challenged them to give it a try.

Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) was the one to go first and failed. Tony Stark or Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) followed. He used his bare hands at first, but resorted to use his iron gauntlet, to no avail. War Machine (Don Cheadle) also gave Stark a hand but Mjolnir would not budge. Dr. Bruce Banner, also known as The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), followed but did not even get close. Captain America (Chris Evans) stood up and looked promising enough to wield the mighty hammer. As "Cap" pulled, Thor had a worried look on his face, as if he was about to lose his status as ruler of Asgard. When Captain America failed, Thor let out a sigh of relief and nervously laughed.

The enchanted weapon is known to choose the person who can wield it. In the previous "Avengers" movie, not even the Incredible Hulk was able to lift Mjolnir off the ground. The item cannot work for anyone who attempts to use it, except for the Norse God of Thunder.

Collider reported that the Marvel superheroes will battle a new kind of evil in "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron". Ultron (James Spader) is an evil super-robot that Tony Stark accidentally created. The team collaborates again to try and stop Ultron from destroying the human race.

There will also be new characters introduced in the sequel, based on a report by SuperHeroHype. The team will meet Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and his twin, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). Vision (Paul Bettany) is also set to appear in the upcoming film. Fans will also be excited to see the new costumes that their favorite superheroes will wear.

The new movie is set to launch in theaters on May 1, 2015, based on a report by ScreenRant. The film was written and directed by Joss Whedon while Kevin Feige served as producer.
