Previously, reports said that Goku's hair will turn blue at some point in "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F" when he goes into Super Saiyan God mode. Some have even said that the blue hue is a "cosmetic" change and doesn't mean that the character has evolved into yet another transformation.

And now, a clip showing Goku in Super Saiyan God form confirmed the whisperings about his blue hair look. Apparently, the new appearance gives the film a fresh twist, albeit minor.

"In a new 15-second promo clip from Toei Animation for 'Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F,' Goku transforms into his Super Saiyan God form as he duels with his resurrected nemesis Frieza," Christian Today said. The villain can also be seen in his more powerful golden form.

"In the last movie, where he attained the red haired God transformation, that wasn't actually the Super Saiyan form of God mode," Forbes clarified. "Whereas this new blue haired incarnation is a full on super saiyan deity."

Previously, the Super Saiyan God mode was considered to involve a hair transformation that goes from black to reddish-purple. However, based on Goku's new hair color the soon-to-be-released movie, it looks like that bit may change.

This revelation may prove to spoil the surprise, which, by now, it already isn't. However, eagle-eyed fans and leaks have already hinted of the hair color change after blue-haired Goku toys were previewed a couple of weeks ago.

Notably, the Forbes piece pointed out "Fukkatsu No F's" similarities with Layzner, another anime series that involves gigantic mecha.

"A fair few fans in Japan have been pointing out that this new movie seems to dial the Layzner references up to eleven but either way, the movie is looking pretty great regardless," Forbes pointed out.

Meanwhile, Fuji TV will reportedly screen "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" a day before "Fukkatsu" will drop in theaters (April 18) in Japan, Christian Today said.

"Early birds in the theaters will get a special JC Most "Godly" Edition Dragon Ball Volume 'F' with complete script written by Akira Toriyama," the site went on to say. "Fans will be treated to stories that happened behind the scenes, as well as the movie's script, exposition text, design materials, and all other good stuff to love."

"Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F" will revolve around the resurrection of feared foe, Frieza, and Goku's efforts to stop him and his cohorts, also with the help of Goku's friends.
