"Persona 5" fans will only wait a little while before the game drops in the spring this year. Followers of the game series may also rejoice knowing that P5 will be included in the "Persona 4: Dancing All Night" release as a bonus.

"The rhythm game features the cast of 'Persona 4' and anyone who pre-orders the game in Japan will receive a 'Persona 5' Blu-ray disc as an incentive," Gameranx said. "There's no news on what this Blu-ray will actually feature, however."

What's known so far is that the said Blu-ray will feature "exclusive footage" from the upcoming game. It also isn't known what to expect from this footage. The answer will be known once "Persona 4" drops June 25, 2015 in Japan, Siliconera noted.

Meanwhile, RPG Site said that the bonus Blu-ray "will only come with first-run printed copies of Persona 4: Dancing All Night on PlayStation Vita."

"No word on if a similar thing is planned for the West, although Dancing All Night has been confirmed for a release in North America at least," the site added.

Although much is unknown about the bonus Blu-ray, the actual game itself is not as mysterious, as information about the title managed to trickle down to users since its development.

KpopStarz said that "Persona 5" is set in Shibuya and "intends to give gamers the open world experience while it remains faithful to the normal means of living in Japan such as riding in a train, walking in crowded streets, and enjoying night parties."

In addition, the game's protagonist, said to be a high school student attnding Shujin Academy, "gained his 'Persona Arsene' after 'a certain incident unfolds and confronts a great darkness enveloping the city.'"

"He will encounter a cat like creature that can transform into a human being," the site went on to say.

Additionally, "Persona 5" will include a new feature called "Awakening," which allows the character's Persona to go up in blue flames.

The game, considering that the protagonist is a high school student, will feature activities that let the boy "make friends, go to school and even go out on a few dates," Venture Capital Post said.

Speaking about "Persona 5," game director Katsura Hashino said that the game's creation is hoped to "give people a little courage to keep going in their day to day lives, to face things head on and do something with themselves," as quoted by Gematsu.

He also compared a game to a "picaresque novel."

"In a nutshell, if I were trying to explain what this game is trying to evoke, I'd say it's like if you took something like a picaresque novel and then threw in, for lack of a better word, realistic, down to earth 'academy juveniles,'" he said.

"The protagonists of Persona 5 themselves are on the run for doing what they think is right after something happens completely out of the blue," he went on to explain. "That mixture of thrills and not-so-larger-than-life cast of characters is what composes the idea of 'academy juveniles' for us. We think that these characters that are going to be a little rougher around the edges than those who have come before them in the series, coupled with the strides we've made in visual and sound design we can pull off something really special here."
