While the latest James Bond movie "Spectre" is on the works, it has already been receiving a lot of feedback even before its release in November. Just recently, the 007 film angered some business owners who were affected during its first week of filming in Mexico grounds.

It was previously reported that the first scenes of the movie will feature Mexico City. However, this brought some problems with local business owners, big or small. Since the filming started, business sales of the latter dropped to more than fifty percent, compared to sales they earned without the on-going street drama, Fox News Latino reported.

Due to scenes that need to be filmed on Mexico City, some of the streets were closed to give way for the filming of the movie. According to Gerardo Lopez Becerra, an owner of a small business located just within the area where the movie is filming, "store and restaurant employees haven't been allowed to go to work and the street closings have scared away customer". The closure started last March 19 and ends on April 1st.

Additionally, it is known to everyone that all James Bond movies imply car explosions, highly violent encounters and intense blasting. Although spectators would love to watch this kind of stuff especially it is made for a high profile sequel, it is a problem for business in Mexico.

However, the closure is not just the only problem but also the loud explosions in the area which startled customers and store personnel, Daily Mail wrote. Another local owner Roberto Salas said, "I don't mind them filming but we should be paid some compensation for this."

It was also reported by Global Post that while the crew was shooting, some protesters appeared in the area carrying banners seeking help from Agent 007 to help them locate the 43 students who are missing. Families are reportedly been trying seek justice for their missing families in Mexico by displaying banners which say, "Help, 007! We ask for your help to find the 43 students of Ayotzinapa. Imprison the gang of corrupt officials." 007 apparently turned out to be their chance for their voices to be heard.

Now that filming should be over soon, businesses should be able to recover from a few weeks' losses. Nevertheless, the presence of 007 in Mexico made a great deal not just for the movie but for the entire country.
