There's no stopping with this Latino performer by the name of Nick Rivera Caminero, popularly known as Nicky Jam. After making "El Perdon" at the #1 spot onto the Billboard charts, Jam decided to sign an international publishing agreement with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

Nicky Jam working with Enrique Iglesias seemed to be the best decision the former could ever make. It proved to be a a good comeback for him after years of being out of the limelight. Billboard reported that Jam also signed with SESAC Latina for worldwide representation for his public performance rights.

The site cited EVP of Sony/ATV Latin America and US Latin Jorge Mejia saying, "Nicky is the new generation of entrepreneurial artist who are entering the big leagues through hard work, perseverance, and social media savvy." The company is very pleased excited that Jam is under their wing.

Vice President of SESAC Latin J.J. Cheng also has this to say about the artist, "Nicky Jam is coming into our family of composers at a great time in his career that's' reflected by his simultaneous presence in various Billboard lists."

The song "El Perdon," translated as "Forgiveness," is an almost 4-minute song which not only topped the Billboard charts but also in most social music applications like Spotify. The song stayed at the #1 spot in Spotify for two weeks.

The rise of Jam shouldn't be a surprise since he has worked his way to where he is now. He started in the industry at a very young age. And just like many other aspiring singers and performers, it has its lows. In fact, during the start of his music career, he didn't make it that big.

Jam's success started when he collaborated with Daddy Yankee during the 90's and early 2000's. They became close and started working together for a duo and made hit songs together, a source reported.  Those previous hits include "Me Voy Pa'l Party", "Chambonea", "Yo No Soy Tu Marido", "Vive Contigo", "En La Cama (feat. Daddy Yankee)", "Buscarte (feat. Daddy Yankee)", "Guayando (feat. Daddy Yankee)", "Voy A Beber" and many others.

Furthermore, with huge companies supporting and social media that are now supporting Jam, it won't be a surprise if the comeback singer will continue making hit song just like "El Perdon". With good song compositions and just the right choice of people to work with everything is possible.
