Aaron Hernandez's fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins, will be appearing in court on March 27 to testify in his murder trial.

The former Patriots tight end was charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd. Lloyd and Hernandez were introduced by the Jenkins sisters in 2012. Jenkins is Hernandez's high school sweetheart and the couple has a two-year-old daughter. CBS Sports reported that in February, Jenkins was granted immunity by the court where she can be compelled to testify against her fiancée or be imprisoned for refusal. The victim, Lloyd, used to date Jenkins' younger sister, Shaneah. He was found shot to death at an industrial park less than one mile from the house where both Shayanna and Hernandez lived.

Previously, Jenkins pleaded not guilty to perjury. She has been very supportive of Hernandez throughout the trial but has not appeared in court since March 6. According to prosecutors, Jenkins lied to a grand jury during the investigation.

NBC Sports reported that one reason for Shayanna to turn her back on Hernandez may be the allegation that he made advances on their babysitter. Boston Globe wrote that Jennifer Fortier testified earlier in March that Hernandez tried to hit on her one time which made her feel very uncomfortable. If Shayanna believes the story, she might sell out her fiancée.

Shaneah, on the other hand, testified that her older sister requested to borrow her car to get cash for house cleaners the day after Lloyd was killed. Shaneah testified that she witnessed Shayanna bring a garbage bag to the basement.

USA Today reported surveillance video also showed Shayanna taking out what looked like a box from the basement then placing it in the trunk of Shaneah's car. The box is believed to contain the gun that Hernandez used to kill Lloyd. The murder weapon remains missing.

Prosecutors may introduce jailhouse calls that Hernandez made, which allegedly discussed promises of money in exchange for the silence of his cousin for the murder case.

In the call, Hernandez told his cousin Tanya Singleton, "Obviously, don't say nothing."

Tanya replied, "I'm not saying nothing."

Based on the same USA Today report, Singleton has terminal cancer and was jailed for seven months for refusing to testify for the investigation involving Lloyd's murder. She pleaded not guilty to helping Ernest Wallace, Hernandez's co-defendant in fleeing to Georgia. There is also another co-defendant, Carlos Ortiz. Both Wallace and Ortiz pleaded not guilty and will be tried in separate cases.
