Three highly anticipated smartphones are set to be launched soon, namely the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and HTC One M9.

ZDNet reported that Samsung announced that the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be launched on April 10, 2015 in the United States. Major carriers will start taking preorders on March 27. The Galaxy S6 will retail at around $679 for the 32GB model, $759 for the 64GB version and $859 for the 128GB model. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is expected to retail at $779 for the 32GB model, $859 for the 64GB model and $959 for the 128GB model. Units will be sold at AT&T Next 24.

Some of the great features that consumers can expect from the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge models include the aesthetic appeal of both smartphones. Users also reported that these models feel good in the hand. Users who are already using Google/Android will find the Samsung Galaxy devices to be a good upgrade. There are preinstalled apps from Microsoft and Google available in a folder. The Samsung bloatware has also been assigned to a folder for users to install optionally.

CNet reported that the Samsung Galaxy S6 features a smooth body made of glass and matte. There is a shortcut key for the new camera, an improved fingerprint reader, and of course, the new Android Lollipop 5.0. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a wraparound screen and some of the most advanced features available today.

Meanwhile, PCMag reported that the HTC One M9 can also be preordered beginning March 27, 2015. Units will be available at T-Mobile stores and the T-Mobile website. Sprint and Verizon will also be offering the smartphone which will be available at around $649. The units will be officially launched on April 10, 2015.

John Legere, T-Mobile CEO, stated, "The HTC One has built a fanatical following, and the M9 will be a favorite whether you're a fan boy or soon-to-be convert. And with Carrier Freedom, there is absolutely nothing stopping anyone from picking up HTC's latest at the Un-carrier."

HTC One M9 features the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, HTC BoomSound surround sound and HTC Sense 7. The unit features a 13-megapixel front camera and a 20-megapixel rear camera. There is also a microSD slot allowing users to store up to 2 TB of data. HTC also offers an insurance feature that provides a free replacement during the first year.
