Roman Reigns has gone a long way since his days with SHIELD. He is now contending to become the top wrestler in WWE by battling Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31.

Dan Pecoraro of Bleacher Report interviewed Reigns about his future and the days to come in WWE.

Reigns delved about doing his best to get the fans to embrace him more fully. In the meantime, the WWE audience is still adjusting to the thought of Reigns being at the helm of WWE. He shared that he hopes that the people will get to appreciate his hard work and dedication to sport entertainment.

Pecoraro says in the interview that Brock Lesnar recently announced that he will be staying for good in WWE and will not be transferring to UFC. This means that even if Reigns wins against Lesnar at WrestleMania 31, the Beast Incarnate will still be around to face him another day and will constantly be a threat to his newly acquired World Heavyweight title. Reigns said that he is always working hard and that he is excited to face Brock. He expects to bring the fans an intense battle.

Yahoo! Sports also reported that Reigns' real background is actually better compared to his life in the ring, which can be a way to make fans accept him more. Reigns shared about coming from a wrestling family and how the sport has always been a part of their life growing up. Fans may finally get to understand the quiet personality of Reigns, compared to the microphone-hoarding champs of the past.

Finally, Pecoraro contemplated a dream match between Reigns and his own cousin, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Reigns said that he is willing to fight his own blood and make the event happen. When asked who he thought would win, Reigns made a facial expression as if to say that he would, obviously.

Reigns said, "It would be a great matchup. I guess it could be a blood feud because we are blood, but I don't think that it would be a nasty blood feud. I'm not against competing against one of the greatest superstars of all time."

Mirror reported in January 2015 that The Rock is actually a contributing factor in helping Reigns get a title shot against Lesnar. When the last four men were left standing in Royal Rumble, Rock suddenly appeared to get rid of Kane and Big Show while Reigns eliminated Rusev to win the match.
