The town hall meeting debate proved to be a combative one for President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.
Both candidates debated on Tuesday answering questions from undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization from Nassau County, New York.
CNN’s Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley moderated the debate. She becomes the first woman to moderate a presidential debate since Carole Simpson in 1992.
The debate focused on the theme of domestic and foreign policy, a mixture of the first and third presidential debates.

The final presidential debate will be Monday, Oct. 22 from the battleground state of Florida with the moderation of CBS News' Bob Schieffer. The theme for the final debate will be foreign policy.
