With all the speculations circulating with regards to the Manganiello-Vergara wedding date, the latter has finally straightened out all issues in behalf of the couple during an interview with Extra. "I don't know, how can something be postponed when it has never been set?" Sofia Vergara said.
The "Modern Family" actress got engaged to "True Blood" star Joe Manganiello in Hawaii after months of dating. Although the couple seems very much excited for the big day, the date has not yet been finalized due to their busy schedules, Sofia admitted.
With "Modern Family" on hold, Vergara is quite very busy with her latest flick with Reese Witherspoon, "Hot Pursuit." Joe, on the other hand, was reportedly engaged with movie commitments including playing as a male stripper in "Magic Mike XXL".
The actor was once in the limelight because of his drinking addiction. Now that he's sober, the media is curious on whether or not Vergara has got to do with Joe's personal progress. Although the latter is mum about it, US Weekly says that Sofia's existence in his life contributed to his sobriety for more than 12 years now.
It seems that nothing's holding back the couple to wed now, apart from their work commitments. Even Sofia's ex-fiance, Nick Loeb, is also happy that she was engaged. He even released a statement through US Weekly saying, "She is beautiful and majestic and therefore to be loved. Beyond all else in life she deserves happiness, the kind that only true love can bring."
Witherspoon is also reportedly pretty excited for Vergara's big day as well. Thus she's going to be a part of the planning team, notes Hello Magazine.
During an interview with host Mario Lopez, Witherspoon said that she and Vergara have become close because of their movie together. "We've already talked about the wedding, we have a lot of plans," she said, as quoted in the Hello Magazine report. "I gotta help, I've gotta be there for my girl!"
