The Air Jordan 4 Retro is set to release in a new "Teal" colorway. The design will be released this year as part of the brand's remastered collection.

Nike.com reported that the shoe will be available on Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The sneaker will retail at $190 for men sizes. The girl sizes will retail at $140, the preschool sizes at $80 and the toddler sizes at $60.

The new colorway was released to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Jordan Brand. Sneaker News reported that teal has been involved in a lot of sneaker releases lately, especially among Jordan Brand shoes, despite the fact that Michael Jordan did not use this color in any of his games while playing in the NBA. The bluish-green tone is expected to surface more throughout 2015. Some fans believe that teal may have more to do with Jordan being the owner of the Charlotte Hornets, which sports teal and purple tones.

In the pictures featured at Nike.com, the Air Jordan 4 Retro "Teal" presents an almost monochromatic teal upper over smooth leather. Brighter teal accents are found on the mesh panels, tongue lining, the top and bottom shoelace loops, Air Max unit, rear part of the outsole and "Flight" patch. There are also black tones on the front portion of the midsole, the distinctive "wings" on the side panel, heel and shoelaces. The rest of the midsole is white, as well as the toe portion of the outsole and the Jumpman logo on the heel and outsole.

Sneaker Bar Detroit also presented detailed photos of the Air Jordan "Teal", showing a smaller Jumpman logo against the number "30", giving reference to the brand's 30 years of success in the shoe industry. The insole is black, as well as the unique heel tab with the embossed waffle pattern. The stitching throughout the shoe is tropical teal and there are three tones found on the outsole. The outsole also features an herringbone pattern and tiny stars on the front region, providing great traction on the court.

Today, the Air Jordan 4 is more commonly used as a casual shoe by sneaker collectors, while there are others also prefer setting the pair in a glass case only for display purposes. The shoe will be available on general release at Nike.com, Footlocker.com and other select Jordan Brand outlets. Some areas may only have the shoes limitedly and may feature a raffle to provide buyers a chance to get a pair in their size.
