Cristiano Ronaldo has just broken up with his longtime girlfriend, stunning model Irina Shayk, but it looks like the eligible bachelor is already back in the dating pool. Rumors claim that the Real Madrid superstar is now romantically attached with another model.

According to a report from Latin Times, Ronaldo is now rumored to be dating Televisa Deportes reporter and Mexican model Vanessa Huppenkothen, as stated by a translated report from Diez Minutos.

The news outlet reported that Ronaldo and Huppenkothen are "not official yet," but speculations say that the Portuguese footballer "fell for the Mexican beauty following her visit to Spain," where the TV presenter was promoting a new betting service.

Huppenkothen was married to Juan Fernández Recamier from 2011 to 2013. Their divorce was due to Huppenkothen's alleged affair with co-host Miguel Gurwitz, which the two both denied, Latin Times wrote.

After the World Cup 2014, the Mexican beauty announced that she was dating someone. In an interview back in August 2014, she said, "Life really just puts things in its place, you don't have to be looking and it arrives when you least expected," the news outlet quoted.

She added, "I don't know if I am in love, but I am very hopeful. The smile has returned to Vanessa and the feeling of completeness and goodness."

Huppenkothen didn't reveal the identity of her new flame back then, but she insisted that he wasn't from Mexico and that "him being far away and only being able to see each other on occasion makes it much more interesting," Latin Times noted.

It was in January when Ronaldo announced that his relationship with Shayk had already ended. He said, "After dating for five years, my relationship with Irina Shayk has come to an end. We believed it would be best for both of us to take this step now. I wish Irina the greatest happiness," Daily Mail reported.

The news outlet noted that the split could be attributed to a heated argument between Shayk and Ronaldo's mother.

There have been many speculations about the breakup, especially when Shayk unfollowed the Real Madrid striker on Twitter, days before Ronaldo's official announcement. Daily Mail also noted that Shayk was absent during Ronaldo's third Ballon d'Or win celebration held on January 12. Filling up the model's absence, however, was sports journalist Lucia Villalon, who was linked to the football star at that time.

Villalon is reportedly a huge fan of Ronaldo's successful career in sports. Daily Mail reported that she watched from the stands during Real Madrid's game against Getafe CF on January 18, cheering him on with a couple of friends.
