Big Sean could be a part of Kendrick Lamar's new album, according to Music Times.

The "Dark Sky Paradise" rapper appeared on The Whoolywood Shuffle and talked with DJ Whoo Kid. In the interview, he was asked if he will appear on Lamar's new work but he "shrugged" and said "no." But, when Whoo Kid cornered him, he said he actually meant "yes."

Sean and Lamar seemed to have a rift after many assumed that the former was throwing a jab at the latter for being pretentious in his song.

In his "Me, Myself and I" freestyle he rapped, "Y'all braggin about so and so, like, 'Oh, he really it/ The new n***a in rap,' well, can he really spit?/ Or do he just hide behind his skits like half of these rappers do?/ And then y'all f**king go and praise him in this bitch like they savior of this sh-t."

However, Sean denied that this was about Lamar. In an interview with MTV, he said, "It wasn't even a dis to no rappers, it was a dis to the people. I feel like people get a little fuzzy-minded and brainwashed when it comes to, like, drama, or, 'He said this!' And they focus on one little part, or the skits. And that ain't it to me."

He added that this was his general note to artistry and that it takes more than "good skits" to create an "awesome" album.

"It's like, 'This is album, or this person, or this mixtape, or 'cause of the skits it was' - I'm just like, Yo, what about the raps? Or, 'He said this name, or he did this.' It's like, Yo, what about the raps, though?" said Sean.

Meanwhile, Lamar is setting up for his Sweetlife Festival appearance on May 30. According to Radio, Lamar will headline the music festival together with Calvin Harris at the Merritweather Post Pavillion in D.C.

Aside from Lamar and Harris there are other artists to appear on the event including Charli XCX, The Weeknd, Billy Idol, Phantogram, The Pixies and more.

As for his album, the fans are already waiting for his next release. Complex even called it his "blackest album since 'Watch the Throne.'"

He released his single, "The Blacker the Berry," last February. "The Blacker the Berry" is his propaganda.

In his interview with Billboard, he spoke about his thoughts on the racism issues and said that he wants to use music as his avenue to inform the people.

"I wish somebody would look in our neighborhood knowing that it's already a situation, mentally, where it's f---ked up. What happened to [Michael Brown] should've never happened. Never. But when we don't have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don't start with just a rally, don't start from looting -- it starts from within," said Lamar.

Lamar has yet to announce the release date of his new album.
