Alejandro Sanz's first single from his upcoming new album has been released.

The Spanish singer announced the good news on his Twittter page. Sanz has been teasing about his new music for quite some time now, according to a report from Billboard

"Un Zombie a la Intemperie" or "A Zombie Outdoors" is "an upbeat, easily singable love song typical of Sanz's laid back style, backed by lightly arranged piano, drums, violin and cello," Billboard described. The romantic music video for the track features a medieval monastery located in Galicia, Spain.

The clip also showcases Spanish actresses Inma Cuesta and Marta Etura, the news outlet noted. An "air of romantic fantasy and period alchemy, with misty landscapes and scenes of Sanz appearing to levitate books and papers," Billboard added, is a constant presence in the video. The 46-year-old pop star's deep voice also embodies a "zombie-ish" quality.

Sanz's tenth album follows his 2012 record titled "La Música No Se Toca," Billboard noted. For the new album, Sanz recorded 18 tracks but only 14 songs made in the final cut.

Sanz is also set to embark on a concert tour at the Plaza de Toros in Cordoba, Spain, a separate report from Billboard stated. Aside from his upcoming concert, the musician will also appear at Marbella's 2015 Starlite Festival in August alongside Lenny Kravitz, Andrea Bocelli, Sara Baras, and Alejandro Diaz.

The singer-songwriter started making a scene in the music industry when he released his album "Más" in 1997. He has won a total of 17 Latin Grammys and three Grammy, the news outlet reported.

Sanz was also honored at the Hispanic Heritage Foundation or HHF in 2014. The award giving body was established in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan and aims to "inspire, identify, prepare and position Latino leaders in the classroom, community and workforce," according to Capital Wire PR.

Sanz also has his fair share of controversies. According to Music Times, he allegedly had a secret daughter who "did not learn of her biological father's identity until 2007." She reportedly filed a paternity suit against Sanz in 2011.
