Although Kanye West is already working with Adidas and openly stated his hatred towards Nike, he is still open to helping fellow rappers with their collaboration sneakers.

In a BBC1 interview with Zane Lowe in 2013, West gave some compliments for his friend, Canadian rapper Drake and added that he would be willing to provide confidential design advice on the shoes he will come up with for the Jordan Brand.

Kanye said during the interview, "He's delivering a level of product to humanity that is of high quality. I don't have any advice for this young man, but what I can say is, 'Run. Fly. Go as fast as you can. Don't stop. Anytime I can be of any service, advice, beats, whatever you need, confidential design advice on the shoes you're doing at the other company -- anything we can collectively do to deliver more awesomeness to the world as a team.' Not just me and him, us all."

Drake is currently a Jordan Brand athlete, while Jordan Brand is under the helm of sports brand giant Nike.

During the interview at the 43:00 mark, Sole Collector reported that West talked about his frustrations with Nike, including having his designs shut down.

West continued to praise Adidas for allowing him to exercise more creativity in terms of design. He said that he liked how the company let him come up with a product that was very close to his heart. He also discussed how the deal with Adidas started when he contacted Jon Wexler, Global Director of Entertainment and Influencer of Adidas.

Huffington Post reported that West said about working with Adidas, "Everyone I talked to would try to level me, and there was this guy named Hermann Deininger, who was the head of Adidas -- I say was because he passed away recently. I showed him what I shot in Qatar [...] He believed I had something more than what my rap record was. He could tell. He knew. He made sure that Adidas deal got done."

He also apologized about the initially exclusive nature of his Adidas products and said that nothing should be exclusive.

Sneaker Bar Detroit reported that West has been highly successful with his collaboration sneakers with both Nike and Adidas. His Nike Air Yeezy and Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost are among the most expensive and rarest sneakers in the industry. Sneaker collectors are paying anywhere from $3,500 to $10,000 for a pair.
