More and more Android users are experiencing Android's latest operating system and American telecom company AT&T has some good news to some of its subscribers.

GSM Arena reported that the users of the Moto X Second Generation who have subscribed to AT&T will now be able to taste the much-awaited Lollipop update. Not only that, it has been confirmed that the version set to roll out is already the 5.0.2 version of the update.

"We are excited to announce a new software update for Moto X (2nd Generation) by Motorola. This update brings Android 5.0.2 Lollipop to your phone along with other improvements...Android 5.0.2 Lollipop is one of the most significant in recent Android history. It improves your experience in many areas including visual style and how you interact with your device," Motorola said in a statement issued recently.

After receiving the notification message for the update, users should select "Yes, I'm in." Then the software will be downloaded. Choose "Install Now." After installation, the phone will restart automatically.

Those who haven't received the update yet can do it manually by going to Settings, then to "About Phone," then to "System updates," and then click "Yes, I'm in." After downloading the software, proceed with installation. After which, the phone will restart automatically.

The latest Android update provides new material design, new fluid animations and vivid colors, some changes to the notifications and lockscreen, new interruptions and downtime settings, Ambient display, and many other features that will definitely improve the overall look and performance of your phone.

T-Mobile has also some good news to some of its Samsung users. In its website, T-Mobile listed "three key stages for new software updates." These stages are Manufacturer Development, T-Mobile Testing, and Completed. When we clicked the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it showed that it is already on the "T-Mobile testing" stage. This could mean that users of the device could definitely expect the update anytime soon. As for the Galaxy Note 4, it showed that it is still at Manufacturer Development stage. Unlike the Moto X 2nd Gen from AT&T, both Samsung devices will only be getting the 5.0 version.

Meanwhile, GSM Arena said in a separate report that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will also get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update this year. Citing the French Twitter account of Samsung, the news outlet said the roll out would happen in the second quarter of the year.

Sam Mobile on the other hand gave a glimpse of what the update's 5.0.2 version would look like on its S Tablet series. It said the highlights of the update on the tablets are the updated keyboard and the old mute function.
