Just as people were winding down from the Oscars 2015 high, rumors of Jamie Dornan not doing the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequels emerged.

Is this a publicity stunt promoting part 2 this early?

MailOnline said that the 32-year-old actor allegedly decided to withdraw from the movie franchise as "wife of two-years Amelia Warner is uncomfortable with the raunchy sex scenes he shares with co-star Dakota Johnson."

However, Jamie's rep told the publication in a statement that such talk "are pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet."

These rumors echo Jamie's revelation about his wife being uncomfortable about seeing her husband sharing raunchy scenes with another woman.

"(Amelia) hasn't seen the film and I don't think she will, to be honest, I'd understand if she didn't want to," the actor was quoted as saying.

These rumors have created a flurry of reactions in social media, with one tweeting that his wife should have known "what to expect when he signed up for 50 Shades?"

"I mean the books are hardly fluffy clouds and rainbows," user @jennywilsonxo said, as noted by E! News.

There also have been reports of director Sam Taylor-Johnson quitting the series "following a series of furious bust-ups with author (E.L.) James," MailOnline said.

"The British director is keen to leave the franchise due to her constant on-set feuds with the author, despite previously claiming that she had 'signed on' to work on the sequels," the entertainment news source went on to reveal.

An insider reportedly said that Sam "wants out and Universal knows that's the right decision."

"Her relationship with Erika has become absolutely toxic - they despise each other and blame each other for the problems with the film," the source reportedly shared.

The director, in an interview with Porter Magazine, admitted that she and the author did clash.

"It was difficult, I'm not going to lie," the filmmaker said, as quoted by Us Weekly. "We definitely fought, but they were creative fights and we would resolve them. We would have proper on-set barneys, and I'm not confrontational, but it was about finding a way between the two of us, satisfying her vision of what she'd written as well as my need to visualize this person on screen, but, you know, we got there."

Meanwhile, Jamie and Dakota reportedly did not have problems working with the auteur. However, according to rumors, both actors don't get along with each other. This was later dismissed by the "Fifty Shades" director, who said they "get along fine," according to USA Today.
