Square Enix is almost ready to introduce "Final Fantasy 15" to the public after confirming the release date for the game's demo, Tech Times reported.

This is a good news to "Final Fantasy" fans since it took the game developer "a decade to develop" the sequel.

So, as a treat, Square Enix has given access to the fans to try out the game. However, it will only be exclusively available for "Japan-only 'Final Fantasy Type-0 HD." The company also announced that the demo, called "Episode Duscae," will be available for download.

Fans have already known they might get the demo if they purchase "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD," but they are unsure since Square Enix has a habit of delaying releases. However, the company confirmed that the two products will be shipped together.

Additionally, they also released a trailer and a 40-minute demo footage of the game using PlayStation 4, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.

The demo contains an ending and is expected to be finished in about three hours. The demo, however, did not include the ability to drive vehicles. So, the character needs to complete all quests by foot.

At the end of the demo footage, there was a Q&A where it was revealed that the game is not running on 1080p/30fps yet. But, the final product will definitely be run on full HD.

The video also showed other features like setting up a camp and cooking meals, according to Game Rant.

Square Enix also confirmed that they are about 60 percent done with the game. A 5 percent increase from their status back in September 2014, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.

Last year, "Final Fantasy XV" Game Director Hajime Tabata said it is going to take a while to complete the game.

"During the 'Versus era' - though it might be weird to refer to it that way - we weren't able to reveal any information on release timing because that was a project in which we had to overcome so many different problems that arose," said Tabata.

He added that they were trying to ease out some loose ends but "the timing never matched."

He also said he hope people could "reset their timers from when I joined the team and restart the count from there."

Tabata started with "Final Fantasy Type-0" back in 2011, according to Wikia.

To give hope to the fans, he said that the basic parts of the game are already intact.
