Michael Jordan celebrated his 52nd birthday on February 1, so Bleacher Report came up with a special "History of Flight" video.

The "History of Flight" video is an original animation that features the history of the Jordan Brand beginning from Jordan's rookie year in 1984 until today. There are 29 shoes in the video, including all of Jordan's most famous signature numbered basketball sneakers with the corresponding inspirations for each creation.

Imitating a flight attendant's tone, the video starts off with a woman's voice saying, "Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Flight 23. Please make sure that your seatbelts are securely fastened and extinguish all smoking materials." Different boxes of Jordan shoes in animation lined up as the narrator spoke. The "History of Flight" title together with the Jumpman logo followed in the scene.

The first shoe presented was the 1984 Air Jordan 1 "Notorious" with its black and red colorway. The second shoe was the 1987 Air Jordan II "Italian Stallion". The 1988 Air Jordan III "Gotta Be The Shoes" followed. Next was the 1989 Jordan IV "Taking Flight" then the 1990 Jordan V "The Fighter". The 1991 Air Jordan VI "Promised Land" followed, giving tribute to Jordan's first NBA Championship. The next shoe was the 1992 Air Jordan VII "Pure Gold", which shifted from a predominantly black colorway into the Olympic colorway, giving reference to Jordan's appearance and winning gold at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. The next shoe was the 1993 "Strap In" Jordan VIII, which hinted that Jordan attained a three-peat championship that year. The Jordan IX "Perfect Harmony" followed, then the Jordan X "The Legacy Continues" when Jordan returned to the NBA in 1995. The Jordan XI "Class Act" was shown followed by the Jordan XII "The Dynasty Continues". The 1998 Jordan XIII "Black Cat Pounces" was featured, showing that Jordan had six championships by that time.

The 1999 Jordan XIV "Race Ready" shoe was also featured in the Bleacher Report video which is followed by the Jordan XV "Speed of Sound". The Jordan XVI "Marching On", Jordan XVII "Jazzed Up", Jordan XVIII "Last Dance", Jordan XIX "Full Flex", Jordan XX "Living Greatness", Jordan XXI "Performance Luxury DNA", Jordan XXII "Hit The Afterburners", "Jordan XXIII "The Number of Greatness", Jordan XXIV "Beyond" and Jordan XXV "Full Speed Ahead" were also shown. The Air Jordan XXVI "Be Quick, Be Responsive", Jordan XXVII "Choose Your Flight", Jordan XXVIII "Dare to Fly" and Jordan XXIX "Tailored For Flight" followed.

Cardboard Connection reported that all the sneakers showed the inspirations behind each shoe, including sports cars, airplanes and Jordan's greatest career moments.
