Jeremy Lin is not only lifting New Yorkers out from a sour and somber basketball spirit, but he is lifting the New York Knicks out from a lousy season it has been so far.

The New York Knicks have gone on a 3-0 run with Jeremy Lin starting as point guard and they will try to extend that record by one as they face the Lakers tonight at Madison Square Garden, 8:00 pm ET.

The American-Chinese New York Knicks player is getting attention not only among Knicks fan, but also from a more general audience as well for his fast and spontaneous but nonetheless effective and explosive plays.
