Fans of "one of the longest-running manga and anime franchises of recent years," as noted by Forbes, may be eager to get their hands on "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," which is said to be released not only for PlayStation and Xbox One, but also for PC. That's because, judging by the game's trailer, the game appears to have gorgeous visuals and a lot of challenges that one can sink his or her gaming skills into. There's also the fact that the upcoming release will be the last of the Ultimate Ninja series of games, so it's something that you should consider checking out.

Set in the Latest Story Arc

GameSpot said that this edition will be "based on the latest story arc in the Naruto Shippuden anime." Expect to see the characters in the anime in this title, as it's also been revealed that this game "will feature the largest number of fighters in the series history," according to Anime News Network.

Playing Modes

In addition, "Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be capable of "one-on-one multiplayer modes for both offline and online play."

Great Visuals and Challenging Game System

"In addition to the mind blowing cel shaded graphics, which have received even more attention in terms of their characterization, the game system for this series has also been very well wrought too," Forbes said. "With the upcoming game being especially tactical as to how the battles will play out."

PlayStation, in its official blog, also noted the "dynamic" fighting and interactive setting, allowing you to use the weapons your enemy has dropped to win the battle.

"You'll need to use all of your skills and think on your feet to get through encounters in 'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4,'" the site added.

Meanwhile, a preview done by Andrew Clouther for GameZone revealed that the game's demo, which involved a battle between Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju, had a gameplay that "properly relayed the intensity of such a grand scale conflict."

"If this sets the bar as what to expect in 'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4,' the fans will be more than pleased," he said.

Another reviewer, IGN's Mikel Reparaz, also managed to play the same demo.

"The directed, highly cinematic nature of the fight makes it pretty clear that it's part of the single-player campaign, so what's less clear is whether some of its cooler aspects - like the ginormous transformations and 3D arena terrain - will actually cross over into the multiplayer battles," he said. "In any case, the demo packs in plenty of simple fun and visual flair - and given that those are the series' two biggest pillars, 'Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' is off to a promising start."

Currently, no specific date of its launch has been announced, although it has been confirmed the game will be released this year.
