The CW's "The Flash" is nearing its season finale and the show is rounding up some notable guest stars to help them end their first season with a bang, this time allegedly adding "The Walking Dead" alum Emily Kinney into their villain roster, Coming Soon reported.

It hasn't been long since fans last saw Kinney, who was known for her role as Beth Greene in "The Walking Dead." She said goodbye to the show after Beth unfortunately passed away, but it has opened up Kinney to a new role, if recent news is to be believed.

Kinney's casting hit the news via PUNKD Images, who posted a photo of Kinney on their Instagram account on Sunday, when the actress was spotted arriving at the airport in Vancouver.

They captioned it, "#WakingDead's Beth... @EmilyKinney arrives in VanCity to be #TheFlash's new Bug Eyed Villain #BrieLarvan."

The CW has yet to officially announce Kinney's addition to their roster. However, The Flash himself, Grant Gustin, has started following Kinney on Twitter, and more news has popped up regarding Kinney's upcoming role, which will be her first major project since "The Walking Dead."

The villainous Bug Eyed Bandit was created in 1966 by Gil Kane and Gardner Fox. He is known for controlling insects to do his bidding and was originally named Bertram Larvan. This time, Kinney is going to be portraying the show's female take on the villain, now named Brie Larvan, according to Screen Rant.

As of now, it is unknown how much of the villain's origins and dynamics will be emulated or changed by showrunner Greg Berlanti and the writers of "The Flash." The Bandit's abilities are largely based on scientific research and not necessarily the presence of actual superpowers. There is a possibility that the writers will recreate the Bandit similar to what they have done with actor Wentworth Miller's Captain Cold, who used weapons to fight in the absence of metahuman skills.

As for Kinney's appearance, she will reportedly be appearing on Episode 18 of "The Flash," titled "All-Star Team-Up," which features another crossover with The CW sister show "The Arrow," according to TV Line.

Brie, described as a narcissistic tech wizard, will be wreaking havoc upon Central City the same time that Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) from "Arrow" decided to visit. The latter two arrived in town to ask for help regarding Ray's A.T.O.M. exosuit, but when Brie starts making trouble, Felicity has no choice but to engage her in a hacker battle over Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash's life.

"The Flash" airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
