A video of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather surfaced, showing the two boxing superstars discussing their potential fight.

In the video presented by Mayweather on his Instagram account, the two met at Pacquiao's hotel suite in Miami after they personally met for the first time at a Miami Heat-Milwaukee Bucks game.

Mayweather was shown in the video wearing a red leather jacket and saying, "I congratulate him (Pacquiao) on his career, he had a wonderful career, and I have had a wonderful career, but before we leave this sport of course we have to make this fight happen."

Mayweather wrote, "From the looks of this video... I'm telling Manny Pacquiao that we have to give the world this fight."

Talks seemed to have stalled even after rumors surfaced that the mega-fight is now closer than ever after the two personally negotiated the details of the bout. According to Mayweather, there were no more issues between him and Pacquiao in making the fight happen. Only their promoters and networks had to settle the details.

Pacquiao said a Daily Mail report, "I'm thinking passionately that the fight will happen. Hopefully this week we will hear from them and fix the fight."

Bleacher Report wrote that both camps have been negotiating the details of the big fight, which is supposed to feature the biggest fight purse in boxing history, at around $200 million. The fight was supposedly set on May 2, 2015 but no confirmation has been made with only less than three months left for the fighters to prepare.

Stephen Espinoza, Showtime executive VP said, "There are a few significant issues remaining on both the fighter side and the network side of this deal. While we are optimistic, it's a bit premature to say that the networks are in total agreement."

CBS Sports reported that Top Rank promoter Bob Arum mentioned earlier in February that there are only two issues that needed to be worked out before a deal is signed. However, there were others who disputed Arum's statement and Mayweather's camp did not confirm Arum's announcement.

If both sides are still unable to settle their issues, the news will no longer be new to boxing fans, considering how negotiations for a mega-bout started in 2009. Mayweather is turning 38 years old while Pacquiao is 36. Both fighters are already past their primes so although the potential match will still be highly anticipated, it will never be what fans initially dreamt of.
