Rap stars Snoop Dogg and Diddy are set to co-headline the "The Tip Off" concert during the NBA All-Star Weekend on Thursday, February 12.

The two rappers will be at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden for "The Tip Off" on February 12, then at Liberty Theatre on Sunday, February 15 for the after-party, "The Grand Finale", in New York City based on a report by CityNeverSleeps. Dogg and Diddy said that they intend to unite the coasts by bringing hip hop artists together and eliminating any bad blood left among rappers from the opposing sides.

Snoop said in a TMZ report, "It's been a long waited opportunity for two rap history giants to rep the East and rep the West with love. The fans wanted this one! Bringing the coasts together during NBA All-Star weekend."

TMZ also presented a video of Diddy inviting people to the mega-party. He said, "We coming to you live at Madison Square Garden Theatre for 'The Tip-Off' All-Star Weekend, February 12. Get your tickets right now at Ticketmasters.com."

Snoop Dogg added, "Five hundred dollars to the best mink coat of the night."

Diddy asked, "Five hundred?! Five thousand! Too much money for the best mink! Ten thousand for the best fur! One hundred thousand for the baddest mink!"

Uproxx.com wrote that the big party that officially kicks off the NBA All-Star Weekend will be presented by HOT 97 FM, the top station for Hip Hop and R&B. There will be live performances by Diddy, Snoop and their friends from the East and West coasts. Thursday's event will be hosted by Ebro, Rosenberg and Laura Stylez, with music by DJ Enuff, DJ Camillo and Funk Flex. Dello Russo Laser Vision will also be working on the event.

Deon Levingston, General Manager of HOT 97, said in the same Uproxx report, "With such a momentous event coming to New York, HOT 97 definitely had to be a part of it! HOT 97's 'The Tip-Off' not only brings two of Hip Hop's legends together on one stage, but also sets the electrifying tone for basketball's biggest weekend. We continue the festivities with an exciting show from sister-nation WBLS, Valentine's Day with Babyface and friends, as well as events and parties across the city with our iconic DJs. Emmis NY is bringing our home city and the incoming out-of-towners once-in-a-lifetime experiences they'll never forget!"

Tickets are currently available at a starting price of $59 up to $250, with VIP experience packages available at $500.
