  • Another screenshot showed Godzilla fighting with King Ghidorah in the middle of the city.
  • The two last screenshots showed Godzilla fighting with Mecha Godzilla who boasts of his missile attacks.
  • The last one shows Godzilla's atomic flatulence.

According to IGN, "Godzilla the Game" was earlier announced by Bandai Namco as a Japanese PS3 exclusive in a Las Vegas event last year. However, it added that there are plans that it would be released for PS3 and PS4 in North America. It is expected to be out in summer this year.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco Sales and Marketing Senior Vice President Chris Gilbert was quoted in a Game Rant report saying, "Godzilla has had a long history and is one of Japan's most famous pop culture exports that have entertained millions of people for generations in the West. We're excited to continue this great history by bringing the GODZILLA videogame for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 to excited fans. Let the countdown to monstrous destruction and epic battles begin!"

Based on the data provided by Bandai Namco, Godzilla, known as the "King of the Monsters," came out in 1954. Through the studies made by scientists, it was found out that an energy called "G-energy" can be harnessed from Godzilla. This "G-Energy" was used to improve the lives of humankind. Godzilla was then forgotten. After 60 years, the monster came back and he is furious. He returned to destroy all people who are seeking for more "G-Energy." This energy apparently was not just used to better people's lives. It was the thing that actually woke up the beast.

Features

The "Godzilla" game has three modes -- Mission mode, Diorama mode, and King of Monsters mode. In the Mission mode, gamers can play more than 20 stages of mayhem. In every stage, players are encouraged to smash many buildings to maximize their G-Energy. However, remember that the more buildings you take down, the higher the possibility of boosting the Hazard Level. This means that you have to deal and battle with more monsters.

You can also power and make your Godzilla bigger by collecting G-Energy in each stage. As he goes taller and bigger, his defensive and offensive prowess also increase. He will also be able to learn new skills. In the Diorama mode, they can create the Godzilla scene they want. The King of Monsters mode on the other hand is time trial.

You can also check out the new special Movie-Style Camera Angle System. With this, players will be able to see special, pre-set locations on the map. Gamers can also control Godzilla just like in the movies. "Godzilla the Game" is developed by Natsume Atari Inc. Watch the game's trailer here:
