Kanye West seems like a changed man during his appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday as he talked about how getting married and having a daughter helped him become a better person, Too Fab reported.

West showed his softer side during the interview, talking about how he changed after marrying Kardashian and how his daughter North helped become a "better human."

"I've definitely learned how to compromise more," he said. "And I've learned how to shut up more. Yeah, I think I'm a better human being because of her, and because of my daughter."

West went one step further to show his love for his daughter, unveiling the official music video of his song with Paul McCartney titled "Only One." It was dedicated to and starred his daughter North.

Show host Ellen DeGeneres mentioned the same, saying she felt West seemed "calmer" and "more grounded" now than before.

Hopefully West really is practicing those compromising and listening skills, though if recent reports are to be believed, he might need to practice them a bit more.

Two weeks ago, West and Kardashian were spotted having a dinner date with hip hop couple Beyoncé and Jay Z at a restaurant at West Hollywood, and a source claimed the night didn't end well for Kardashian, according to Radar.

Britain's Heat magazine spoke to an insider who claimed that during the dinner date, West was busy gabbing about music with Beyoncé and Jay Z, making it an "incredibly awkward" affair for his wife, who was left to stare at her phone.

Beyoncé asked about North, though the source claimed Kardashian thought it was "strange and polite." The source added, "Kim felt left out and was on the brink of tears when they left."

Nobody knows if the source is speaking the truth, but hopefully West has both ears open for his wife and child. West even mentioned during "The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he and Kardashian were planning to have another child, according to MTV.

"Yeah, we're trying," he said. "I just want whatever Kim wants."

Happy wife, happy life, as they say, especially with a pregnant wife, so some compromising and listening skills will be pretty handy for West.
