The next generation Nissan Titan XD is coming soon as it has already been announced for a debut at various dealership showrooms later this year, which according to Nissan will help establish the brand in the truck market. They also added that production of the Nissan Titan is scheduled to begin in Madison County later this year.

The exact date of production for the vehicle hasn't been set yet, but Saia shared that details will become clearer as the production date gets closer.

While many are already anticipating the best and most high-end features the new Nissan pick-up has to offer, it is also worth noting that this could mean potential job creation when production of the vehicle begins, The Clarion Ledger reported.

In the last four years, Nissan has upped its workforce to more than 6,000 employees, and Nissan spokesman Justin Saia stated during a conference on Wednesday that there "may be opportunities for job growth".

The Nissan senior vice president for manufacturing, supply chain management and purchasing John Martin hinted that since production of their Nissan Murano started in November, they were looking to yield 1,000 additional new jobs in Nissan Canton over the next few years. The same could happen for the Nissan Titan.

To come up with the 2016 Nissan Titan XD, Nissan essentially reimagined, disassembled and remade their original Nissan Titan, according to Yahoo. The company's goal was to create and provide full-size pickup trucks for the market, designed with the fuel efficiency of a half-ton truck but the tow capacity of a heavy-duty truck.

Now it's providing two new versions to the 2016 Nissan Titan line, the lighter non- XD version and the heavier XD version.

The Nissan Titan XD in particular comes with a 5.0-liter DOHC V8 developed by Cummins that generates 310 horsepower and 555 pound feet of torque and when properly equipped, can tow up to 12,000 pounds. It also comes with Zero Gravity seats inspired by NASA, a RearView Monitor with trailer guides and surpasses 8,500 pounds gross vehicle weight rating, according to Yahoo and Edmunds.

Nissan has yet to announce the price range for the vehicles, but those from Edmunds claimed the price of the Nissan XD will split the difference in prices of the existing Titan trucks and the other heavy-duty variants of trucks.

The 2016 Nissan Titan XD will be released first in late 2015, with the non-XD, light-duty version coming out a few months later.
