Rumors and speculations on the plot details of the much-awaited "Avengers: Age of Ultron" movie have continuously bombarded the web, a few months before it officially hits theaters. The latest of which came from Cinema Blend which posted the possibility of The Hulk turning into gray. The speculation arose when it spotted a photo showing Hot Topic-exclusive Funko POP Vinyl figure of the gray "Savage Hulk" together with Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Vision, and Ultron. Take a peek at the said image here.

Although it is not yet confirmed whether The Hulk will indeed turn gray in the movie, Cinema Blend's Adam Holmes suggests two possible reasons for the color change. First, it could be that The Hulk's sudden color transformation has something to do with the rumored spell that the Scarlet Witch cast on the heroes. It has been said for a while that some of the Avengers, including Captain America and Black Widow might experience hallucinations and flashbacks. The same could also happen to The Hulk. There is a possibility that when this spell affects him, The Hulk could turn into his old gray version.

Second, it is possible that The Hulk just turns back to his own original color. Cinema Blend notes that green is not Hulk's original color. It is indeed gray. It revealed that The Hulk first came out gray in 1962 but was transformed into green immediately after due to some "ink issues."

According to Marvel, Robert Bruce Banner, at first, only transforms into the "brutish" gray Hulk during sunset. He then turns back to human form at dawn. However, he eventually transformed into the destructive green Hulk. This happens whenever he becomes "intensely excited." His green version, it says, has little memory and intelligence and is easily angered.

Find out if the gray Hulk would indeed be in the movie by watching the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" during its release on the first day of May this year.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is a sequel to the first "Avengers" film which is considered as the "third highest-grossing film of all-time" after earning $1.5 billion in 2012. It is based on the Marvel comic book series "The Avengers," which was first published in 1963.

The movie will again feature original cast members: Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Paul Bettany will portray the role of The Vision, Tom Hiddleston as the villain Loki, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill. There are also newcomers: Aaron Johnson as Pietro Maximoff and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff.
