Do you know what happens when you combine PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in a single console?

Eddie Zarick, a console modder who was responsible for XBook One and PlayBook 4, recently created the "PlayBox 4One" - a fusion between the latest gaming consoles of Sony and Microsoft, based on a report by IGN.

Zarick posted a video on YouTube showing his newest creation, fitting both the PS4 and Xbox One in a single gaming laptop. The PlayBox 4One is a bit bigger compared to his past two creations. It features the PlayStation 4 on one side and the Xbox One on the other side. The device appears like a thick white laptop, featuring a tough plastic casing with hints of green and the name of the product opposite the display. The laptop-design makes the product quite handy so gamers can flip the display open for play and also close it when not in use. There is a 22-inch 1080 Vizio monitor, custom graphics and two wireless black controllers in the package too.

Showing the internal layout of the PlayBox 4 One, Zarick managed to arrange the chips and connections within the frame neatly. A heat fan is available on the upper right area and there are exhausts on the areas where the keyboard should be as well as the back to ensure that the device stays cool while users play. There is one power cord and swapping between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only requires the flip of a switch. There are also two Ethernet ports to have direct wired connection to the Internet for either console, based on a Digital Trends report. Only one gaming console may be turned on and powered to play to avoid overheating.

In the same Digital Trends report, Zarick encountered a few issues when coming up with the PlayBox 4One, such as consistently getting the capacitive power button on the PlayStation 4 to function and extending the USB ports to the side of the case for the Xbox One. the console may be turned on via the console through the PlayStation button on the DualShock 4 controller.

A fan actually requested Zarick to create the PlayBox 4One. There is still no confirmation as to how much the new product will cost but it is expected to be more expensive than his two previous works. The PlayBook 4 was priced about $1,400 while the Xbook One was priced at $1,500 before. Trusted Reviews reported that Zarick can actually drop prices if clients provide their own consoles for him to convert.
