The iPhone 5 has launched in 22 countries today, but it also has made its unofficial debut in India.

Rumors have heavily speculated the device to launch in the Southeast Asian country by Diwali or December, which is Apple's expected deadline to have the iPhone 5 released in 100 countries and with 240 mobile carriers.

The iPhone 5 isn't found in retailers in India, but on eBay and Tradus, and with a steep price.

On Tradus, the iPhone 5, featuring the 4-inch Retina Display, new Apple Maps app, iOS 6, and Nano Sim, has a price tag of Rs. 59,500, when converted equals roughly $1,124 in the US. The device is available with the 16GB variant and if purchased, will be dispatched in 10 to 15 days.

The price on Tradus is less compared to OLX.in, selling the device for Rs. 75,000, about $1,417 in US dollars. OLX stated the device, although it doesn't show what GB device it is, is the "best price."

Meanwhile eBay has several iPhone 5s on display, with the 16GB and 32 GB on sale. Prices range from Rs. 59,000 and some go as high as Rs. 99,000 ($1,871) for the 64GB.

The cheapest iPhone 5 found for Indian customers as Rs. 48,643 for the 64GB on Price Dekho.

As Latinos Post reported, the latest Apple smartphone is "coming soon" for India. When it comes to prices, it should range as the same price when the iPhone 4S was released, therefore around Rs. 45,000.

Several sources, such as IBT, report that AirTel is expected to carry the iPhone 5 in India. A downside to the rumors is India will likely not see the new 4G LTE technology and most of the Apple apps.

As Latinos Post reported, the iPhone 5 was released today in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

The 22 countries come after the first nine on Sept. 21: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, France, and Germany.
