This is the season to be jolly with the latest Nike basketball shoe releases as the sports apparel juggernaut has unleashed a string of new models for the brand's fans to feast on.

"Jordan Brand has just announced their Christmas Day Collection 2014 with brand new colorways of the Jordan Super.Fly 3, Jordan CP3.VIII, and the freshly introduced Jordan Melo M11," Sneaker News reported. "Each pair features a dazzling array of angular patterns inspired by none other than Michael Jordan's own Air Jordan 7 (a shoe slated to have a rather big 2015 thanks to the Remastering of Retros) while the colorways each feature hints of Cardinal Red to hold over a holiday motif."

"Drawing inspiration with Cardinal colors and the AJ VII print, while commemorating Jordan's history of signature athletes, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Russell Westbrook, Jimmy Butler, Otto Porter, and Reggie Bullock, will all don the latest AJ Christmas colorways for the three performance kicks on the court this Christmas," Dime added.

The Jordan Super.Fly 3, as you may already know, takes after "Blake Griffin's powerful game" and was made to help the NBA standout to "jump even higher, with greater explosiveness," as explained in the official Nike store's description of these new kicks.

Meanwhile, the Jordan CP3.VIII has a "locked-down fit and responsive cushioning system" and is "engineered for sudden bursts of speed and stability during hard cuts," as noted by Foot Locker.

The design of the Jordan CP3.VIII, which takes after the look of a high-performance sports car, is inspired by Chris Paul and his fast-paced game. This model is fashioned with "super-strong, ultra-lightweight Flywire cables-designed to move dynamically with your foot-tighten during quick cuts and sudden changes of direction, enhancing support and lockdown." The Christmas edition, as previously stated, will feature Cardinal Red predominantly and

Furthermore, the Jordan Melo M11 could be said to need no introductions, as its name apparently refers to the New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony, who was "Jordan Brand's first signature athlete," NBC Sports' ProBasketballTalk noted.

A Christmas edition of Melo's signature shoe will be released come December 24 and will feature a lot of white and "a Bulls-like mix of black and red coats the silhouette's accents, tongue, and midsole respectively with a hint of gold featured on the branding and laces," said Nice Kicks. The sides of the midsole follows a festive pattern that is in line with the Christmas motif.
