It's not surprising people are watching Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's marriage very closely. After all, both are two of the famous celebrities on the planet and are also known to have colorful lifestyles and love lives. The fact that Kim's previous marriage lasted only 3 months also fueled the interest.

Will this one last longer? Considering the couple had tied the knot in May and is still together 7 months after, the answer is yes.

Will they make it through to their first year anniversary? Judging by the steady streams of rumors about the couple splitting, it would seem that there's doubt on whether they indeed can. That is, if the reports are indeed true.

According to MediaTakeOut, the rapper reportedly refused to bring his curvaceous wife to his family's reunion.

"Kanye West was in Wilmington DE this weekend - for a WEST FAMILY REUNION. He brought NEITHER Kim, nor his daughter to the event," the site said. "So lets get this STRAIGHT - he does NOT spend Thanksgiving with his family, he does NOT take them to a family reunion, he spends about ONE DAY out of the last MONTH with his family."

Well, action does speak louder than words. However, this also depends on whether the actions (or non-action) actually did happen. Or are thoroughly documented.

And now, Gossip Cop has announced that the MediaTakeOut report is false.

The entertainment news source said that Kanye was actually not attending a family reunion. Instead, he was "visiting his cousin to celebrate the relative's birthday."

If that's the case, it's quote clear how this bit of information got out of hand in MediaTakeOut's hands.

Gossip Cop went on to clarify that Ye didn't refuse to bring Kim with him. It was the reality star herself who elected to stay behind.

"She could not make the trip because sister Kourtney was due to give birth any day, and Kardashian was on 'baby watch,' something that was known about well in advance," the site said.

True enough, Kourtney did give birth on Sunday, which is also her firstborn Mason's birthday.

We've also learned, through MailOnline, that Kim took her nephew Mason and niece Penelope, both Kourtney's children, to watch a "Disney On Ice" performance with her own daughter North in Los Angeles' Staples Center on the day her sister Kourtney gave birth. Kim was, no doubt, helping her sister recover from the childbirth by babysitting North's cousins.

Will Kanye be coming home anytime soon now? We'll find out in a bit.
