The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards is tonight and comedian Jimmy Kimmel handles tonight's festivities from Los Angeles.

The Emmy's acknowledges the best in television, from drama and comedy in shows and movies.

This year's nominees focus heavily on cable television rather than broadcast, so, channels such as HBO should see success tonight.

Tonight's show also marks the first Emmy Awards where the four major US broadcasting networks (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC) are not nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series categories.
