Manchester United returns to the Premier League with a date against rivals Liverpool.

Man U has been on a tear since they opened the season with a 1-0 loss to Everton. Their latest exploit was a clutch 1-0 win over Galatasary in the opening match of the UEFA Champions League. Michael Carrick scored a gorgeous 7th minute goal to give Man U the only tally they needed to take 3 points at the Old Trafford.

But now they renew their big rivalry against Liverpool which will be preceded by a tribute to the victims of Hillsborough Disaster.

After the ceremony, Man U will attempt to continue its dominating start while Liverpool will attempt to do something that has escaped it all season: find a win. They did win in the Europa League by the score of 5-3 but their dreadful start to the Premier League has them in one of the current Relegation spots. The key for them will be leader Steven Gerrard who is the key to unlocking Man U's defense.

Man U will not have the services of striker Wayne Rooney as coach Sir Alex Ferguson stated that he is not in form.

The key for Man U is the Robin Van Persie-Shinji Kawaga combination, which was lethal against Galatasaray and helped Carrick score his goal. If Liverpool can stop this combo then Man U will have a harder time penetrating their hated rivals.

The match starts at 8:30 AM ET.

Prediction: Liverpool will be at home, but Man U is too good right now to stop. 3-1 Man U.
