Cristiano Ronaldo should not be sad anymore entering Sunday's match against Rayo Vallecano.

The Portuguese superstar scored the game winner at the last second in an enthralling 3-2 win for Real Madrid over Manchester City in the first game of the Champions League.

Now Ronaldo hopes that he and his teammates can translate these winning ways into La Liga where they have only achieved the feat once in four matches. The champions of La Liga last season have only won once in four matches and find themselves eight points behind rival Barcelona for first place. Madrid was expected to win their tilt last week with FC Sevilla but they failed as drama regarding Ronaldo's sadness dominated the news and locker room.

Rayo Vallecano has performed past expectations this season with two wins in their first three games. This squad is expected to be one of the worst in the league and they are contenders for relegation. But thus far, they have been a tremendous success with four goals in the first three games. Real Madrid will look to change that.

Prediction: Real Madrid wins 4-0.

The ball starts rolling at 3:30 ET.
