The struggling Lakers are reportedly looking to find a way out from its current debacle in the young NBA season.

It seems that the team is practically willing to put everybody in the trade block, with the exception of course of Kobe Bryant, to turn things around fast.

Just last week, Sports World Report, hinted that the Lakers might trade Jeremy Lin, Carlos Boozer or Wesley Johnson and possibly bring to its fold Rajon Rondo, Marc Gasol, Roy Hibbert, JR Smith or Greg Monroe to help the Black Mamba.

With Steve Nash out in the sideline with a season-ending injury, it looks like Jeremy Lin would be the best fish bait the Lakers could give before the trading deadline.

At least one sports analyst seems to agree to the idea of shipping Lin to other teams in exchange for someone who is not just a back-up point guard.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports had this to say about Jeremy Lin: "I think Lin is a one-year player with the Lakers. He's a backup point guard in the NBA. He's obviously be thrust into a bigger role because of who they have (on the Lakers' roster), with the injuries and with Steve Nash out for the year. You can see that Lin's confidence is not there. There's not a great chemistry between Kobe and Lin, that's obvious."

With that analysis, it has almost become apparent that the Lakers would be firing the gun on a trade that would likely involve Jeremy Lin.

"With Lin struggling with his consistency on both ends of the floor so far this season, the Lakers may elect to simply let him walk in free agency or trade him before the NBA trade deadline in February," opines Lakers Nation.

And the trade may be forthcoming soon as Kobe Bryant was seen on December 4 having breakfast with perennial All Stars and Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo in Boston.

"Rondo has been rumored to be the star most likely to be traded this season. The All-Star point guard becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer and with the Lakers having another off-season with ample (salary) cap space, Los Angeles could be a potential destination," bares the Lakers Nation in another report.

The Lakers have expressed interest in acquiring the services of Rajon Rondo regardless of how they get him to LA. If the team cannot pull off a trade to bring Rondo to California, the Lakers would surely run after him in the free agency market come next summer, observes the first Lakers Nation report.

The Lakers are also reportedly putting veteran forward/center Jordan Hill on the trade block.
