The online missions and the races on the multiplayer game "Grand Theft Auto Online" are the two features that attract GTA gamers and fans to the open-world action adventure video game.

"Deathmatch is where it's at in GTA Online, and it's time for you to stop sticking to missions and races," states VG 24/7.

Deathmatch is a multiplayer game mode in "GTA Online" that can be played by two to 16 players.

"Deathmatches in 'GTA Online' offer players the opportunity to compete against up to 16 players in high intensity shootouts. Members with the most kills are awarded accordingly in cold, hard cash," details IGN.

With the latest "Grand Theft Auto V," control features, draw distances, and competitive shooting modes in the multiplayer "GTA Online" are now at their best, cites VG 24/7.

The report further said that Deathmatch in "GTA Online" is so enjoyable that it already comes as a surprise why many GTA gamers still do not play it. "Deathmatch is where you get to prove your point (as a shooter). While it may be intimidating like most online games, the general chaos provides the drama and quirky kills that will sure to give you good time, whether you're a great player of the game or not," it added.

IGN also states that there are three types of Deathmatch in "GTA Online". There is the Normal Deathmatch, the Team Deathmatch, and the Vehicle Deathmatch.

"Deathmatches can be found on the Map by looking for the blue skull icon. At launch, there are currently 46 Deathmatch jobs available to play and each of these occurs at a unique location on the map. Normal Deatmatches are shown with a single skull icon, while Team Deathmatches are (indicated) by three skulls," describes IGN.

VG 24/7 says that winning a Deathmatch can give a GTA gamer a decent mission worth about $10,000 not to mention the drama and excitement that comes with a good fight.

The site also states that Deathmatches normally turn into 'knife-edge' thrill as players try to survive while the clock is ticking down.

"Do yourself a favor and start practicing (Deatmatch). So stop being slave to the mission. You can always make your own," VG 24/7 points out.

The report also cited three of the current favorite maps for Deatmatches namely the Vanilla Unicorn stripclub, El Burro Heights, and the Derelict Motel.

"We're hosting a public 'GTA Online' session this Wednesday (December 3), and you'll be playing a couple of Team Deathmatches, if you can get involved," invites VG 24/7.
