Some parts of the world have felt the chill that comes with this special time of the year, with some experiencing it at a rather epic scale (think Buffalo, New York's epic snow dump). Yes, it's undeniable, inevitable - Christmas is coming.

So, have you got an awesome mix for this holiday season?

Whichever your answer is, let this list help you fine tune or kick start your preparations for this wonderful time of the year:

"Baby It's Cold Outside"

This is a romantic ditty about "a man tries to extend the night by telling his date that it's too cold to leave, MailOnline said. It's timed for winter and has been performed by various duos in the past, and until the present. The most recent version was done by Michael Buble and "Frozen" carrier single singer Idina Menzel.

"Let It Snow"

Those who got the brunt of the previous week's snowy maelstrom would probably not want to hear this song these days. For those who don't mind a bit more snow, this is the ballad to play this holiday season.

"White Christmas"

Ditto the previous song. Bing Crosby's version is probably the most popular one, which is no surprise as his rendition is the first and the original one.

"All I Want for Christmas Is You"

This is one of those rather modern tracks that has carved itself a place in the list of classic, well-loved Christmas songs. We bet the upbeat factor earned this track a whole legion of fans.

"Winter Wonderland"

This can be called the theme song of lovers of all things wintry.
"Santa Baby"

Sassy and tongue-in-cheek - that's what this song is all about. You'll probably still enjoy the original version, which was recorded by Eartha Kitt.

"Do You Hear What I Hear"

This is one of those perfect "we're-on-the-doorstep-to-Christmas" songs. The title should be enough to tell you why.

"Carol of the Bells"

This should remind you of potential chorister visits, which only add to the charm of this season.

"Last Christmas"

Another modern classic that should give you the feels - and a sense of nostalgia among Gen Xers.

"It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year"

We won't be surprised if you sing the chorus as over and over as, indeed, this holiday season is probably, definitely, truly "the most wonderful time of the year."

Do you have any other song to add to this list?
