Waiting for the sequel of the hit science fiction movie "Avatar?" Then here are some interesting news about the upcoming movie which came directly from its director James Cameron.

In an exclusive interview with Empire magazine, Cameron said that fans need to ready their jaws to drop in the upcoming sequels of the movie.

"I can tell you one thing about them. They're gonna be b-tchin'. You will s--t yourself with your mouth wide open," he was quoted as saying by Empire.

Cameron also cleared that they will be using 48 frames per second in the sequels, contrary to earlier rumors that the director plans to shift to 60 frames per second.

"My thinking at the time was that 60 (frames per second) might be a better segue to the video market...I'll be plugging into a system that's a little more mature, so it makes sense for me to do 48 frames at this point," he told Empire.

As for the script, the director revealed to Empire that he and several other writers for the movie already met for several months now. The writing team includes writers Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno. "I think we met for seven months and we whiteboarded out every scene in every film together...and I didn't assign each writer which film they were going to work on until the last day. I knew if I assigned them their scripts ahead of time, they'd tune out every time we were talking about the other movie," he was quoted as saying.

Cameron also cleared the issue about Peter Jackson and script. He admitted and acknowledged that Jackson and his team which includes Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens contributed to the first "Avatar" movie. "When Neytiri is holding Jake and she's just brought him back to consciousness, the 'I see you' line was suggested by them...It might have been Peter who said that," he said.

According to IMDb, Zoe Saldana will return in the second movie to portray the role Neytiri again. Also back is Sam Worthington who plays the role of Jake Sully. The cast list also includes Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang as Miles Quaritch. It is also rumored that Joely Richardson will be included in the cast.

Joining Cameron as producer is Jon Landau, it revealed. It also said that it is rumored that James Horner will handle the film's music. IMDb named Evgeny Glazyrin as the movie's layout technical director, Dan Lemmon and Joe Letteri as visual effects supervisors.

A report from Franchise Herald earlier revealed that the trailer for the new movie will be out "late next year" but it has never been confirmed.

Cameron was quoted in the same report saying that he really wants audience to experience that "sense of excitement" about this new world Pandora and about the Na'vi people. He said he wanted to touch the hearts of many people and cultures around the world in his new movies. He also talked about the sequels' storyline. He said that some of the scenes and themes seen in the first movie will likely be seen in the sequels. "The CG plants and trees and creatures and the musculo-skeletal rigging of the main characters - that all takes an enormous amount of time to create. It'd be a waste not to use it again," he was quoted as saying by Franchise Herald which cited IFC.

A Crossmap report said that the filming of the upcoming movies will start in December in New Zealand.

Sigourney Weaver also told Crossmap that she is happy to be back in the new movies, considering that her previous role of Dr. Grace Augustine was killed in the first movie. She however refused to talk about her role but hinted that her "part is a little different in each one" and that she will "transform somewhat."

"Avatar 2" is expected to hit theaters on December 25, 2016. The third movie will be out in December 2017 while the fourth one is expected to hit theaters in December 2018. According to the Daily Mail, the first "Avatar" movie released in 2009 is considered as the "best earning film of all time."
