Whoever said Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are no longer BFFs must be eating his or her words as we speak. That's because we've been treated to a series of public displays of BFF affection from the two these past two days, which firmly dispelled rumors of the two not seeing eye to eye over Sel's romantic involvement with Justin Bieber.
Recently, Tay did something that did nothing but further convince us that she and Selena are friends through thick and thin.
"In addition to being Selena's number one fan at the American Music Awards on Nov. 23, Taylor took to Instagram to send her BFF a sweet message reminding her of their amazing friendship," Hollywood Life echoed. "Taylor posted a beautiful photo of herself and Selena hugging at the AMA's on her Instagram on Nov. 24."
The image in question shows the "Blank Space" singer and Selena in color while the rest of the people around them are in monochrome tones. Tay aptly captioned the Instagram snap with a few lines from one of her "1989" tracks, "Out of the Woods": "The rest of the world was black and white, but we were in screaming color."

"Taylor is all about Selena and being friends with her now that Selena is finally starting to walk away from Justin and not letting him control her world," a source told the site regarding the "1989" artist's renewed friendly overtures. "As we all know Taylor hates Justin and loves that Selena is choosing Taylor's advice over getting back with Justin because it looks like this time it will actually stick."
It could be recalled that Tay cried during Selena's performance of "The Heart Wants What It Wants" at the recently-concluded 2014 AMAs, E! News noted. The incident even earned the singer some "serious side eye." Apparently, she didn't mind.
After the duo "kissed and made up" at the AMAs last weekend, as noted by MailOnline, and with Tay still providing post-breakup BFF support, it appears the friendship is in full sail once more. The "Shake It Off" singer had even enlisted other famous BFFs - Lorde, Karlie Kloss, and HAIM - to lend their support to the heartbroken Selena. With all that backup, it seems unlikely that Sel would go rushing back to the arms of the Biebs, who she finally broke up with in October.
Well, ladies, make sure you hold on tight to Sel. When "The Heart Wants What It Wants," you never really know what's going to happen next!
