A month before Christmas arrives, Ariana Grande already gave her fans an early present by dropping her new Christmas song "Santa Tell Me," Hollywood Life reported.

The song became available for download on iTunes on Sunday night, after the 2014 AMA's, where the former Nickelodeon star performed a medley.

Grande took to her Twitter account to make the announcement, posting, "#SantaTellMe out now... hope y'all enjoy! https://smarturl.it/SantaTellMe."

The singer has already released a teaser of the song on November 23, and according to MTV, listening to the entire song felt like, "we skipped Thanksgiving and drove straight into Christmas."

The song is sold on iTunes for US$1.29 and was released via Vevo on Monday night.

"Santa, tell me if you're really there / Don't make me fall in love again/ If he won't be here next year/ Santa tell me if he really cares / 'Cause I can give it all away if he won't be here next year," Grande sings the chorus of the song.

With jingle bells accompanying her cold and smooth voice, she sings the first verse of the song: "Feeling Christmas all around / And I'm trying to play it cool / But it's hard to focus when I see him walking 'cross the room / 'Let It Snow' is blasting now / But I won't get it in the mood / I'm avoiding every mistletoe until I know it's true love / That he thinks of / So, next Christmas I'm not all alone, boy."

She then transitions back to the chorus and to the second verse of the song, then sings the soulful bridge, according to E! News.

Last year, the 21-year-old pop star also released a Christmas song. She did her own version of the hit 1984 song "Last Christmas," which was featured on her "Christmas Kisses" extended play.
