Do you live in Japan? Are you a PlayStation Plus subscriber? If you say yes to both, then you're one of the lucky ones who can download and play a number of games for free.

"Sony has announced Japan's PS Plus lineup for December," attackofthefanboy.com said. "One of the free games Japanese gamers can get to play is 'Killzone Shadow Fall.' This is cool since the game is only a year old. It's also a AAA title that helped sell the PS4 console last year during its launch."

Not only that, Japanese gamers will also get "Natural Doctrine" (PS4) and "God Eater 2: Best Version" (PS Vita) for free.

We bet we'll be hearing a chorus of "Domo arigato!" from players in the Land of the Rising Sun come December 3, when all three games will be available.

"On top of that, 12 month PlayStation Plus memberships will include a bonus three months if you purchase a subscription between December 3 and December 24. PlayStation Plus membership costs 5,200 yen with tax in Japan," Siliconera noted.

"Killzone Shadow Fall" has been described by IGN as an "intense shooter franchise." It was released last year November 15 and is rated for Mature players as it contains strong language, blood, and intense violence.

Meanwhile, "Natural Doctrine" is "a challenging strategy title which features cross-play and cross-save," Metacritic said. "The games sets out to test your ability to conquer the evils that lurk in the sprawling networks of mines and ruins in the areas surrounding the fortress city of Feste."

The third game, "God Eater 2: Best Version," has been described as "Monster Hunter" with a plot, Kotaku noted, and has been a hit with many gamers, especially those in Japan.

In the past months, some gamers had been complaining of the free game lineup in the PS Plus in the past few months, especially for the PlayStation 4, AOTF observed. That's because Sony has only offered indie titles for PS4. However, this may soon change with the Japanese tech company's celebration of PlayStation's 20th anniversary. The site speculated that Sony maybe releasing bigger games in connection with that. Hopefully, Japan won't be the only region getting free great PS games.

Despite this, it appears PS 4 had an "extremely impressive first year," as IGN puts it.

"Sony announced on Halloween that it had sold a staggering 13.5 million console units to date," the tech site said.
