Bill Cosby rape allegations started emerging nearly 10 years ago and have not earned the comedian a criminal charge. However, a "seemingly innocuous tweet," as Time puts it, from Cosby last week apparently resurrected the old demons. And now, the issues are back on the headlines and appears to have cause the actor a number of losses.

In addition to the recollection of old allegations of rape against Cosby, model Janice Dickinson has very recently stepped forward and joined the growing number of women accusing the man of rape.

According to ET, the 77-year-old industry veteran had "reached out to her during a trip to Bali, following her stint in rehab" in 1982.

"Dickinson claims Cosby had her travel to Lake Tahoe, because he was performing there and wanted to meet with her about the possibility of a job offer, as well as help her with a singing career," the site explained.

Dickinson recalled that she drank a glass of red wine and a pill at dinner during that Lake Tahoe outing. She had requested for the medication to alleviate her discomfort due to menstruation and stomach pains,

"The next morning I woke up, and I wasn't wearing my pyjamas, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man," The Independent quoted her as saying. "The last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pyjamas off and there was semen in between my legs."

Her account appeared to share similar elements with the testimonies of other women who claimed that they were also sexually assaulted by Crosby. In 2005, Tamara Green said that "Cosby gave her pills that knocked her unconscious and then groped her" back in the 1970s. Another woman, Beth Ferrier, also claimed that Cosby had "drugged and sexually assaulted" her in the 1980s, as noted by Time.

"Dickinson had previously referenced an uncomfortable encounter with Cosby in her 2002 biography, though she stopped short of accusing him of assault," The Huffington Post said. Dickinson also revealed that she had wanted to make the claims but Cosby's lawyers had "pressured" her not to.

"I'm doing this because it's the right thing to do, and it happened to me, and this is the true story," the former supermodel said. "I believe all the other women."
