Can Sony top Microsoft's December offerings?

Well, more than that, will December be a great month for PlayStation Plus gamers? What will the next few weeks hold?

For one, there will be great deals for PS Plus users in the following weeks given that it's the holiday season, and there's that Black Friday sale looming over the horizon.

For December, Sony announced through its official PlayStation blog that it will be adding "Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition and Secret Ponchos to PS4's IGC lineup."

"As one of the biggest fighting games, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is the first AAA Blu-ray title to join the Instant Game Collection for PS4, and we think you'll really enjoy playing it since DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition is not available yet," the site said.

"We understand many of you are waiting for DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition to be added to the Instant Game Collection, and we apologize that the game is not yet ready to launch," the update also said. "We want you to know that we're committed to providing DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition to members when it's ready, and the Evolution team is working hard to make it a reality."

Secret Ponchos, an "indie multiplayer game," will be available on PS 4 for all PS Plus members this December, IGN noted.

If you're looking to buy new games to fiddle with for the meantime, aside from freebies, that is, you can get The Wolf Among Us Season Pass for $14.99 at the PlayStation Store, PlayStationLifeStyle.Net said. You can get The Wolf Among Us Episode 1 for free, though.

There's also Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for a mere $2.99. On the other hand, Mass Effect is going for $4.49 this week. Mass Effect 3 is the cheapest of the series at $3.99, while Mass Effect 2: Ultimate Edition is the priciest at $10.49.

Meanwhile, there are reports about a $89.99 PlayStation 4 console Black Friday deal. Heavy said that the deal can be found at Amazon, which could refund you in case the purchase backfires.

In other updates, PC World said that two PS 4 bundles go at $400.

"Both deals come with a 500GB PS4 consoles and include your choice of either Grand Theft Auto V and a digital download voucher for The Last of Us Remastered, or Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and a digital download voucher for LittleBigPlanet 3," the tech news source said. "The two deals will be available in the U.S. and Canada-but gamers above the 49th parallel will pay $450 for the deal."

If you want a better deal, it's recommended that you keep looking around, as the one mentioned above is Sony's official offering. You may get a lower one from other retailers.
