What's in store for Xbox gamers this December?

It's been said that things are going to get exciting this holiday season as game makers are expected to give some of their best offerings on such occasions. It's also possible that they'll be scrambling to release their own set of games earlier than their competitor to add pressure to the situation.

"There are two games that are contending to be in the December 2014 Games with Gold lineup. The first is 'Ryse: Son of Rome,'" Christian Today said.

"This game is a third-person action adventure game," the news source went on to explain. "Crytek developed the game and has already received a lot of awards for its excellent graphics."

It also has been speculated that "Dead Rising 3" may also be offered free for Xbox with Gold users in December.

"We haven't heard anything from Capcom on 'Dead Rising 3' in a long time and it was one of the biggest Xbox One games at launch," Gamepur observed. Perhaps we're going to this coming December!

So, which games do you think will Microsoft make available for Xbox Live with Gold users?

Recently, reports have it that Xbox Live is having connection problems "where its social and gaming services are limited on both Xbox One and Xbox 360," IGN said.

"Players can't currently join other Xbox Live members in online games due to the problems. For example, Xbox One users are reporting issues with not being able to log into Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer," the news source explained.

"Other affected services include accessing or retrieving data stored using cloud storage, managing friends lists and tracking what friends are doing, sending text messages to other Xbox Live members, and unlocking and viewing achievements," IGN added.

Woah - they better fix these things up real quick and good because the holiday season is nearing and Black Friday is certainly very close. There'll naturally be a rise in gaming activity in the following weeks, so it's important Microsoft stay on top of things if they want their loyal customers to keep playing.

Speaking of which, have you checked out those Xbox Black Friday deals? There has been a couple of leaks regarding such bargains, including those from GameStop, as noted by Gamespot recently.

"There's an Xbox One with 'Assassin's Creed Unity' and 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag' for $330 and a PlayStation 4 with copies of 'Grand Theft Auto V' and 'The Last of Us' for $400," the site said.
