The year's biggest shopping frenzy is happening next week and eager Black Friday shoppers are revving up their game plans for that much-anticipated day. Retailers, in turn, are also teasing deals for that post-Thanksgiving spree.

GameStop has joined in the fray by leaking its own Black Friday deals - a development that should excite gamers and tech fans.

"This year's deals include a $400 PS4 bundle with GTA V and 'The Last of Us,' games like 'The Evil Within' and 'Madden 15' for $30 each, and a $330 Xbox One 'Assassin's Creed' bundle that comes with digital versions of Unity and Black Flag," Kotaku said. "Other decent deals: 'Shadow of Mordor' (PS4) for $30, 'Tales of Xillia 2' (PS3) for $20, and some heavily discounted headphones, among many others."

Meanwhile, Polygon said that the deals run from November 28 to 30 and will include Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox.

"GameStop is also selling an Xbox 360 500 GB 'Call of Duty' bundle, which comes with 'Ghosts' and 'Black Ops 2,' through Nov. 29 for $199.99," the site said. "You can pick up a PS3 500 GB 'Lego Batman 3' bundle, which also includes the Sly Collection, for $269.99."

"GameStop has a Retro NES Edition of the Nintendo 3DS XL for $199.99. They also have the Nintendo 3DS XL 'Mario Party: Island Tour' bundle for $179.99," the site added.

Do be warned that although over 4,000 GameStop branches will be offering these deals until November 30, some of them may expire after a mere 24 or 48 hours, starting 5 a.m. Black Friday, BGR said. Just make sure you check GameSpot's ads in advance. More information about these deals may emerge as the day of reckoning nears.

GameSpot takes the distinction of being one of the handful of stores that are not opening on Thanksgiving Day, which is something that a number of Americans appreciate.

Recently, a Texas GameSpot was plagued by a robber who "threatened an employee at a west side GameStop," KHOU reported.

"Workers said it was around 10:30 a.m. when the suspect came in the store and inquired about making a purchase," the news outlet said. "The employee went to a back room and saw the suspect grab a gaming system and a game before leaving for the front door."

"As the worker approached the suspect, he stopped and threatened to kill her if she followed him," the source added.

Fortunately, the suspect was caught on camera. His image has since been used to help track him down. That one probably couldn't wait for Black Friday.
